Tournaments are a blast and much more competitive than you might imagine. Specially with prize money to win. So what do you need?
1) Start with an even amount of players and teams. Teams are made up of 2 players per team. You can use as little as 2 teams to start. But we find having 4-8 teams is the best. Just remember for every 2 teams you need 1 course.
2) now that you have your teams you must determine how many rounds and what games you want to play. We always play 5 rounds, with each round featuring a different game.
Format: The winner of the round receives 1 point and remains on the course. The looser rotates to one of the other courses to face the winners from the previous round. After five rounds the team with the most points wins. In the event of a tie, all teams involved will play a championship match.
Now that you have the basics you are ready to host your own tournaments.
Allow about 2 hours for 5 rounds.
